The central purpose of this Short-Term Scientific Mission is to prepare teaching materials for a Fintech University module. In universities across Albania, including the biggest public University, the University of Tirana, Fintech still represents a new topic and is not quite properly included in the delivered courses. Given the importance of Fintech at the European level, and also the interest shown by the students of the University of Tirana to get acquainted with such knowledge, including at least a course on Fintech, is a short-term objective of the University of Tirana. Meanwhile, at other universities from non-ITC countries, the landscape is much different because Fintech is already extensively delivered in several university courses both at a Bachelor’s and a Master’s level. Conducting this STSM at the University of Naples, Federico II will help Professor Shkurti develop the materials necessary to deliver a brief course that will provide students with exposure to new Fintech services within a critical context and framework and implications of technological advances on the current and future state of the financial industry. Materials will be developed in the English language and will be reviewed by three other professors from partner Institutions.
