Associate Professor in Statistics at the Department of Economics, Statistics and Finance, University of Calabria (Italy) since 2015. Her research interest mainly focuses on statistical modelling. She is member of research groups whose projects received international and national funds with the aim of providing advanced methodological developments in the medical, environmental and financial fields. She participated in many conferences/seminars as an invited speaker. She has also been a member of Scientific Committees, chair and organiser of sessions of national and international workshops, visiting Professor at RWTH Aachen University (Germany), University of Florida (USA), Bayes Business School, University of London (UK). She is Associate Editor of Biometrical Journal, Statistical Methods and Applications, Statistica. She is the Director of a II level Master in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science funded by a grant of the Italian Ministry of Research.
