Roman Matkovskyy is Professor in Economics and Finance, co-director of the “Financial Market and Corporate Outcomes“ Research Centre, research group leader “Financial Innovation and FinTech”, and programme director of MSc in Financial Data Intelligence. He serves as an associate editor in several journals. He is also a coordinator for STSM grants for the European Union’s Horizon 2020 COST Action "FinAI: Fintech and Artificial Intelligence in Finance - Towards a transparent financial industry". In his research he focuses on various empirical aspects of the financial innovations (digital finance), particularly contemporary class of financial assets, cryptocurrencies. His primary research interests lie in the comparative analysis of contemporary cryptocurrency markets and AI.
