About
Petre Lameski was born in 1985 in Kavadarci, Macedonia. In 2008 he graduated at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies at the University of Sts Cyril and Methodius in Skopje with highest honours. In 2010 he finished his master studies at the same faculty also with highest honours. In 2017 he finished his PhD studies at the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering. He currently works as associate professor at the University of Sts Cyril and Methodius in Skopje, Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering and vice dean of science and international collaboration. Petre has co-authored more than 100 publications in prestigious scientific journals and international conferences. He has led and participated in over 10 international scientific projects funded by Horizon Europe, Horizon 2020, Erasmus+ etc. In 2017 Petre has received a research grant from Microsoft AI for Earth programme. He has received the presidents “Successful Youth” award for 2020 in the category: best young scientist in natural sciences, mathematics and technology and has received the award for best researcher for 2021 from the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje. He has worked as a consultant in several national and international companies, working on applied machine learning and artificial intelligence in financial, medical, agricultural, and other industrial applications and software development. His research interests include time series data analysis, big data analytics, applied machine learning, deep learning, transfer learning, sensor data processing, mobile application software engineering and applied artificial intelligence in mobile applications.
