Dr. Öztürkkal is Professor of Finance at Kadir Has University, with BS from Boğaziçi University, Department of Mechanical Engineering and MBA concentration in Finance from University of Miami. She holds a PhD in Business Administration focus in Finance from Marmara University. She was at the University of Texas at Dallas for her Post-Doc. She was visiting fellow at the Graduate Institute Geneva. Her research spans a variety of areas within finance, emphasis on behavioral finance, ESG, surveys, and corporate finance. Her research has been published in the European Journal of Finance, Emerging Markets Finance, and Trade, Journal of Cultural Economics, Journal of Financial Counseling and Planning and book chapters in Palgrave Macmillan, Springer, McGraw Hill. She is the Management Committee Member for Turkiye for COST Action Fintech and Artificial Intelligence in Finance. She is the recipient of Kadir Has Scientific Research Grant and Pump Priming Fund Grant from Cass Business School, London, UK.
