Begoña Gutiérrez-Nieto is a full professor in Finance and an associate researcher at the Institute on Employment, Digital Society and Sustainability (IEDIS) at the University of Zaragoza. She is also an Associate Researcher at the Centre for European Research in Microfinance (CERMi) at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (Belgium). She has authored several research articles and books on microfinance. She has been the co-editor-in-chief of the Iberoamerican Journal of Development Studies.
